Foundation Virtual School Inaugurated under ESEFThe Foundation Virtual School (FVS) under the Elementary and Secondary Education Foundation (ESEF), Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, was formally inaugurated by Mr. Shahab Ali Shah, Chief Secretary Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, at the Government Higher Secondary School, Hayatabad, Peshawar.The ceremony was graced by Mr. Muhammad Khalid, Secretary Elementary and Secondary Education Department (ESED), Mr. Qaisar Alam, Managing Director ESEF, senior officers from various government departments, academicians, teachers, and a large number of enthusiastic students.Speaking on the occasion, Chief Secretary Mr. Shahab Ali Shah highly appreciated the initiative of the Elementary and Secondary Education Department and the ESE Foundation. He termed it a visionary and timely intervention that reflects the Government’s commitment to reshaping the education sector through digital transformation and innovative learning models.He further remarked that the Foundation Virtual School is a bold step towards building a future-ready education ecosystem, one that provides flexibility, inclusivity, and access to quality learning opportunities for every child, regardless of geographical or socio-economic barriers.Through this initiative, ESEF aims to bridge learning gaps in remote and underserved communities by utilizing technology-enabled classrooms, interactive digital content, and online facilitation support. The project also aligns with the provincial government’s vision to ensure equitable and sustainable education for all children in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.Managing Director ESEF, Mr. Qaisar Alam, in his remarks, highlighted that the Foundation Virtual School is a milestone project that embodies ESEF’s ongoing efforts to innovate, modernize, and expand educational access across the province.
