Sadia Shaheen - Education Assistant, UNHCR𝐌𝐞𝐞𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐬:Date: May 8, 2025Location: ESEF Head Office.𝐊𝐞𝐲 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐮𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐬:- The Chair, Managing Director Khawaja Faheem Sajjad, welcomed the UNHCR delegation for the meeting by setting a positive tone for collaboration and briefed the delegation about the role of ESEF in promotion of formal and non-formal education in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and emphasized on exploring areas of Non-Formal Education (NFE) in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa for a joint venture between ESEF and UNHCR.- Ensuring access to quality and inclusive education for out-of-school children of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and the Afghan Community jointly.- Achieving Sustainable Development Goal 4 (Quality Education for All)𝐎𝐮𝐭𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬:- UNHCR commended ESEF for its impactful initiatives in educating marginalized children- ESEF acknowledged UNHCR's valuable support and reaffirmed their shared commitment to quality education- Shahab Khan, Deputy Director e-Governance, ESEF, was declared as the focal person for coordination with UNHCR by the Managing Director - ESEF.- UNHCR will soon invite the Managing Director - ESEF for a meeting at their regional office to further discuss collaboration opportunities.This meeting marked a significant step toward expanding quality educational opportunities for vulnerable population of both existing enrolled students in GCS and out of school children in the region.
